Finished entry for ~maxmillean's Your and My OC Contest. Pictured here we have Mr. Ginsu and Allison Marie Rosewood. I decided to draw these two together because Allison has bunny DNA and Mr. Ginsu is (sometimes - he's working on it) a panda. :> I thought it made sense to put the (semi?) animal OCs together in a drawing.

The two people in the background are Siegfried and Lorelei. They are also my OCs.

I was trying to compose something a bit different with this piece. I made the foreground slightly more saturated with red than the background, and used green & yellow for the background to exaggerate color contrast between the figure & ground. I also was experimenting with tight & loose detail contrast. As you can see, the foreground has more definition (tight detail) than the background (loose detail). The focus of the image (the faces & the clasped hands) are also brighter than other parts of the foreground. I think I may have exaggerated the FG/BG color difference too much, but I'm still happy with the result.

If you managed to slog though that entire description, you deserve a cookie.
